Since its foundation in 1960, the International Society of Endocrinology (ISE) has pursued the worldwide advancement of education, science and patient care in endocrinology.

Today the society forms the global network integrating all areas of endocrinology and metabolism. Federating more than 45 national endocrinology associations, ISE unites the global endocrinology community to facilitate international cooperation between its member organisations, partners and wider stakeholders.

ISE provides a platform to co-ordinate scientific exchange, education and partnerships between endocrinology organisations and healthcare professionals around the world.

The society particularly focuses its efforts on supporting early career endocrinologists and championing endocrinology networks in developing countries and regions.

ISE’s flagship event, the International Congress of Endocrinology – ICE – is organised every two years in a different region of the world, in collaboration with one of our member societies, and serves as the main outlet to disseminate the latest scientific developments in the field of endocrinology and metabolism.
